  The Canadian Red Cross mission is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity in Canada and around the world.

•   Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response
  The Centre for Emergency Preparedness and Response is Canada's central coordinating point for public health security issues.

•   Direction générale de la sécurité civile et de la sécurité incendie (Québec)

•   Emergency Management Alberta
  Emergency Management Alberta makes sure that Alberta's communities are prepared to respond to disasters or emergencies.

•   Industry Canada – Emergency Telecommunications
  Industry Canada has the lead role for emergency telecommunications in Canada.

•   Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization
  Manitoba EMO is responsible for the overall provincial emergency program, ensuring safety for citizens, their property and the environment. EMO assists with the preparation, review and enhancement of emergency preparedness programs, training exercises and resource development for municipalities, school divisions, government departments and agencies, and the private sector.

•   New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization
  The New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization is an emergency management and co-ordinating agency of government that prepares and provides support to mitigate the effects of disasters for New Brunswickers, and both private and public sectors.

•   Newfoundland & Labrador Emergency Measures Division
  The Provincial Emergency Measures Program is responsible for the development and maintenance of effective provincial emergency preparedness, response and recovery measures with a view to mitigating the human suffering and loss of property caused by actual or imminent emergencies and disasters in Newfoundland and Labrador.

•   Northwest Territories Emergency Measures Organization
  The EMO handles several duties related to emergency or disaster situations.

•   Nova Scotia Emergency Measures Organization
  EMO (NS) is the agency of the Nova Scotia Government that is responsible for providing a prompt and coordinated response to emergencies.

•   Ontario Emergency Management
  Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) is responsible for the development and implementation of emergency management programs throughout Ontario. Comprehensive programs include mitigation/prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.

•   Prince Edward Island Emergency Measures Organization
  The Prince Edward Island Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) is responsible for the development and coordination of an overall provincial emergency management program in relation to emergencies and disasters.

•   Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness
  The Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness portfolio includes emergency preparedness, crisis management, national security, corrections, policing, oversight, crime prevention and border functions.

•   Saskatchewan Emergency Management Organization
  Saskatchewan Emergency Management Organization (SaskEMO) is the provincial government's lead agency for emergency management.

•   Yukon Emergency Measures Organization
  The Emergency Measures Branch (EMB) of the Yukon Government, through the Emergency Measures Organization (EMO), is responsible for coordinating the Territory's preparedness for, response to, and recovery from, major emergencies and disasters.
